Christian School Developing A Long-Lasting Moral System

The Cambridge Christian Academy will provide active challenge to your student and will help them to be become Christ-revering slaves. To make this happen, we think that helping students to incorporate their faith into their daily routine is crucial. Through the use of our curriculum and mentorships, we can fulfill our goal in five different, yet equally important ways.

We seek to build into our kids a reasonable faith. Instead of shirking the issue to a future date, the students must be allowed to have their doubts clarified right away. The aim is to be ready for the challenges that arise to face us with our own faith, when we ask the questions that we all inevitably ask. We must indoctrinate them when they are young, or else we may lose all semblance of control over them.

Infuse faith into your lifestyle and strengthen your faith. The implications of the Gospel, is something that our students need to really think about. To live their faith, our students might have to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, Cardboard City, Manna Market or other places that require them to help those in need. Our children should have the ability to deal with whatever surroundings they encounter and accomplish the task they have with success as representatives of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We ought to exemplify our belief. The attractant is our life style, we must live as we speak so students can see and be influenced by it. The majority of children don’t recall every material taught to them in class, but they recall the instructors who taught them. When the students see true faith being demonstrated daily by their mentors, they realize that it is real. Faith is integrated into all life according to Deuteronomy 6. These teachable moments can be used to show our faith. Those being mentored by people who promote their faith in real life are likely to promote that same faith in their lives.

Students need to develop a discerning faith. We don’t encourage an open mind or a closed mind, however we encourage a discerning mind. Our purpose and passions help ignite a student’s moral imagination. We can’t force a child into a faith, it must be their own free choice, but we can give them all the relevant information to choose as they see fit.

Finally we seek an all-consuming faith. It is essential that students see that the significant adults in their lives are totally immersed in their faith. Martin Luther called it the Trauma of Holiness. Holiness is shattering and now more than ever, kids need to experience that we are living in the presence of God and that He is due reverence, awe and honor. When we discover God’s true majesty, we can bring Him into our world. “All-in” for the Gospel students, seeking ways to serve their Lord in their homes, school, and community, are an inspiration.

As we move into this Thanksgiving Season, we are truly grateful that God has provided our students with the opportunity to build their faith in a mentoring and caring environment. Cambridge Christian school genuinely appreciates the support and patronage of the families and loved ones who allow us to make a positive impression upon students’ lives. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our vision of Mentoring tomorrow’s Christian leaders, today.
