Human Fusion – The Next Zumba?

I’ve just tried HumanFusion, fitness class and I like it! In fact, what I tried was only one module of HumanFusion – there are nine different styles so there’s plenty to choose from. Each Human Fusion module is based on a different style of dance, but you don’t need to be a dancer to join in. The classes are cleverly designed so they’re easy for beginners to learn, but ex-dancers like me won’t be bored. I tried Foxyfusion, which is showgirl-inspired – if you’ve ever wanted to dance burlesque, now’s your chance! The thing is, that’s only one of the HumanFusion modules, which is what gives it an edge. Gyms that sign up HumanFusion aren’t stuck with one style of fitness class – there’s OrientalFusion (bellydance-based), WarriorFusion(kickboxing-based), ZenFusion (yoga based), and more. It’s well known that variety in your fitness regime is important, to keep you motivated and challenge muscles in different ways.

The other thing I like about HumanFusion is the class structure. In Zumba, I’m forever scrambling to keep up with the instructor! In HumanFusion, each class is based around one complete routine, which is repeated several times – so by the end of the class, you have the satisfaction of knowing what you’re doing. I also like the fact that all HF classes are taught by real dancers. Zumba is also dance-based, but you don’t need any dance training to become a Zumba instructor – and as a dancer myself, I can see the difference.
