Perfect Body
Is Being Overweight Worth Taking Your Life Over?
You simply cannot look anywhere these days without seeing some type of reference to weight loss. People are constantly trying to transform their bodies in order to make the world acknowledge them for the person that they are. Children can even be seen going to the gym working out, simply because they have received an immense amount of adverse attention from people that reported that they were overweight or obese.
There are some adverse reports that have been arising when it comes to increased muscle growth in children and teens. Apparently, it is kosher for a teen to want to work out, however once these teens start exceeding the amount of muscle that their bodies demand this can be extremely detrimental to their health.
For instance, there are teenagers that you can currently spot today working out with their own personal trainer that have a small percentage of body fat on their bodies. Even though, a healthy and rock hard body is something that most adults ail for, this particular body type may not be something that a teenager needs.
Inadvertently, on the other side of the spectrum there are more teenagers these days that are also considered to be obese. Thus, the persistent taunts from others and the constant teasing about being overweight can drive a teenager to think that they are nothing, which can actually lead to a lot of adverse problems as well.
With the will to want to look their best, teen suicides have also begun to escalate throughout the world. A lot of teens figure that the taunting and the horrid remarks will never subside, so instead of having to find a way to cope with their problems, they put on a black helmet and attempt to do the worst thing possible.
The sad thing is obesity is something that can be fixed. However, for most teens they believe that the taunting will never end, so they opt to take their lives in order to end their sufferings. The quest for the perfect body is something that many of us will never be able to accomplish. However, this does not stop the monotonous commercials from being showcased through our television screens or the constant reminders that we are a little bit on the heavy side.
In the end all that the constant reminders of people being obese are doing is killing off our talented youth. In the end, their deaths are also going to lead to more and more adults doing the exact same thing to themselves.
